Let me lie on the moss amid the roots
Fill my mouth up with seeds and let the new trees sprout
Eat my flesh and sew my body into the ground
Let the new saplings run through the woods
Chasing something sweet and exciting and fresh and new
Let my suspended form be fuel
Let the adolescent trees roam wide and free
Where they can find a body to feed on and grow from
Children are children and children are so often hungry
Please be happy.
Not for me.
For yourself.
